Migration Monitoring – April 20th, 2008

It was a beautiful morning with continuing warm, sunny conditions. A sociable morning as well as Peter Thoem and Mitch Beck arrived to help out and do the census. Peter regularly does the census on Sundays…..when he can get out of bed. On the whole though it was a pretty quiet day with only 9 banded; however, the 5 new birds for the year (see below) sort of made up for it.
